 Promised
Land Ministries
Promised Land Ministries is in its 11th year of being "in the
trenches" with those far from God in some way. It provides
educational and support programs, such as job skills, reading
and writing instruction, etc., to aid parishioners in securing
and keeping a job. It also maintains a small house behind the
church building where we prepare the meals on Sundays, and which
we use as a "half-way house" where people just out of jail or
seeking to separate from dangerous friends can stay for a small
"rental" fee (just to make them find a job and invest in their
own recovery). |

Belmont Community Organization
The BCO, established out of Christian love and concern, is a
charitable, volunteer ministry dedicated to provide emergency
aid for need families and individuals in the greater Belmont and
New Hope areas. The BCO offers assistance with the basic
necessities of life: food, clothing, shelter, household
furnishings, medicines, fuel, and utilities. |

 Stowe YMCA
Not only does Forest Pointe meet in the Stowe YMCA facilities,
we partner with Stowe YMCA to build strong kids, strong families
and strong communities. Forest Pointe contributes to the YMCA’s
scholarship program – helping children through:
• homework assistance and activities in the Afterschool care
• developing values and character through summer camps |

 Rebuild Lakeshore
Lakeshore Mississippi took the brunt of
Hurricane Katrina’s fury. Strong sustained winds (150+ mph) and
a 42 foot storm surge destroyed all the homes in this community,
leaving its residents without shelter, food, or running water.
With the help of volunteers from across the country Lakeshore
Baptist Church continues to run a distribution center, clean
property, build sheds and decks, rehab houses, construct new
homes, encourage the distressed, proclaim the gospel, hold
church services, provide Christ-centered God-exalting
literature, bathe the community in prayer, and point people to
our only Hope.

Every Nation Ministries – Edinburgh
Forest Pointe partners with Perry Burkholder, who is a
pastor of Centrepoint Church in Edinburgh, Scotland. Centrepoint
is an international, contemporary, Bible-based, Christian church
designed to help people in Edinburgh navigate life's spiritual
journey.

Water Missions International
WMI is a nonprofit, Christian-based engineering
organization whose mission is to provide sustainable access to
safe water and an opportunity to hear the “Living Water” message
in developing countries and disaster areas. WMI’s safe-water
solutions bring immediate and lasting benefits in health,
dignity, education, productivity, and income generation to some
of the world’s most marginalized and forgotten people.

Young Life Nicaragua
Forest Pointe partners with Pratt and Ashley Butler
through Young Life Nicaragua. They lead an International Schools
Ministry and National Ministry in Managua, Nicaragua. They focus
on college and high school students and help them develop as
disciples. |

Red Team
The Red Team is a church-wide initiative that was
created to respond to the greatest humanitarian crisis of our
time, AIDS. We have targeted Ethiopia as our global emphasis and
built an orphanage there for children who have lost their
